LATEST NEWS

The 2025 Local Road Safety Project application cycle was a tremendous success, with more than 50 project submissions received from across the state. At this time, the application period is officially closed, and we are no longer accepting new project proposals.

Our team is currently conducting a thorough review of each application to ensure every project receives the attention and consideration it deserves. This process will support the development of impactful safety improvements, directing hundreds of thousands of dollars toward roadway safety initiatives throughout Louisiana.

Due to the high level of interest and participation, the application process may be adjusted for future cycles. While new applications are not expected to open again until 2027–2028, we encourage interested applicants to explore the information available on this page and begin preparing early for the next round.
